Applying Truth to my Daily Living, Henna Liu

My name is Henna Liu. I am the fourth generation of Christians in my family. Praise the Lord! After I finished my bachelor of music degree, I came to the Full-Time Training in Anaheim. Now I am in my fourth term in the Training.

In the Training, Witness Lee's ministry always reminds me, helps me, and leads me to go back to the Lord in anything and in any situation. I go to the Lord to contact Him directly, because He is the source of everything. Also, in the Training, I feel that the Bible becomes new to me. I like to read the Bible now. I understand more of the Bible and also see a blue print of the whole Bible concerning God and man and God's purpose for man. I feel that when I come to read the Bible, I come to the Lord Himself; I come to contact the Lord in person.

Moreover, the truth that we study in the Training is not doctrine or mere knowledge, but it is very practical in my experience. For example, the tree of life signifies God Himself (John 14:6; 15:1). God desires us to take Him in as life (John 6:51; 6:63; 10:10). He wants to be one with man in everything so that man can express God. In my experience, I may be so right in a situation, but I may be so dead inside. Right or wrong does not matter to God because they belong to the tree of knowledge of good and evil. What matters to the Lord is life and God is life itself (John 10:10). God wants me to gain more of Himself in all of my situations and experiences. He wants me to be in the realm of life, the tree of life. This helps me in my experience when I am in the realm of right or wrong. When I turn to the Lord, open to Him, contact Him, He supplies me with His divine life. Then, I can set aside who is right and who is wrong. I can just be in life and light. Actually, I feel that I am much more released and peaceful when I take care of myself according to His life.
